Detox 4 YOU
The four detoxes described within these pages are uniquely different, like Y.O.U (your own uniqueness). A step by step guide of 4 different types. They span the entire fasting continuum, from a beginner’s level of eliminating specific, unhealthy foods, all the way to the cessation of all solid foods for a set number of days. Best of all, these fasts can be modified to fit your need, your level of discipline and your commitment to the process.
Some of you may want simply to begin practicing an annual detox for health maintenance purposes. Some of you are battling serious health issues that may be helped with a good internal cleansing. Others may want to experience increased energy, focus and well-being. Then there’s always those of you who want to lose weight. Whatever your reason, detoxing is for Y.O.U.
If you’re not ready, either physically or emotionally, to embark on one of the four detoxes contained here in the Detox 4 Y.O.U, your doctor or alternative practitioner advises against it, let your practitioner know, and together you can customize a milder cleanse for you. We would suggest reading Chapter 7, Detox 3 - Making Better Food Choices or Detox 4 - A Combination Detox and also a non-food detox.
By the way, fasting doesn’t only have to be from food. Sometimes our spirit and our soul needs a good cleansing and a rest too. So as you embark on this journey, consider a non-food fast, spending a little less time on your phone, in front of your computer and all those guilty pleasures you do habitually
