How Can I Stop My Hair From Shedding?
POSTED ON BY LIANA
Are you experiencing shedding? It can be a natural growth cycle that your hair is going through. You have a shedding stage called telogen and after four months of hair growth you can be shedding up to 100 strands of hair a day. If this is still going on for three weeks, it is natural that you may become concerned. You can begin by collecting your hair daily and putting it in an envelope to make sure that the amount of hair you are losing is decreasing. Do this for a maximum of 7 days.
In some cases, after experiencing a prolonged illness such as COVID, some people experience what I call a shock to the nervous system and lose hair. I’ve also seen hair loss due to losing a loved one or worrying about a loved one, breaking up with a partner, or, losing too much weight. If you don’t usually see shedding and are now experiencing it, NO worries, I can help you!
